Weeks after state officials announced a huge jump in Minnesota’s projected budget surplus, Gov. Mark Dayton wants to spend much of it on education. (MPR News)
Groups spent $61 million lobbying the Legislature last year, down from $69 million in 2013, according to reports filed with the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board. (Star Tribune)
