DC group plays offense in 3 MN House districts
The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee has named three Minnesota House races to its watch list.
Those races are among 69 the group, which works to elect Democrats to state legislatures, believes have the best chance of flipping from red to blue.

Minnesota House District 01B - Democrat Eric Bergeson is challenging incumbent Republican Rep. Debra Kiel of Crookston.
Minnesota House District 2B - Democrat Dave Sobieski is challenging Republican Rep. Steve Green of Fosston
Minnesota House District 14A - Democrat Dan Wolgamott is challenging Republican Rep. Tama Theis of St. Cloud.
Kiel and Green won their races in 2012 by less than 4 percentage points. Theis won her race in a 2013 special election by more than 11 percentage points.
A spokesperson from the DLCC wasn't immediately available to say what level of investment the group plans to make in each of the races.
DLCC Midwest political director David Griggs wouldn't say how much money the group plans to spend in Minnesota. But Griggs said the group is working closely with the Minnesota House Caucus to target races and plan investments. The DLCC's list of target races goes beyond 1B, 2B and 14A, he said.
Democrats have to defend their majority in the Minnesota House against Republicans, who see a good opportunity to flip enough seats to take control of the chamber. Republicans need seven seats to win the Minnesota House.
