It's go-time for four Republican candidates who are competing to challenge Gov. Mark Dayton in the fall.

Candidate Scott Honour spent Monday highlighting his opposition to the state’s new minimum wage law, as well as his willingness to shut down state government in the event of a budget impasse. (MPR News)

A group running ads for Rep. Kurt Zellers is getting some last-minute financial help from a Native American tribe and an oil and gas company. (MPR News)

We will also be watching two contested House primaries, including one in Minneapolis between DFL State Representative Phyllis Kahn and Minneapolis School Board Member Mohamud Noor. The city has ordered unprecedented security precautions at four precincts. (MPR News)

Meanwhile, Mike McFadden, who is running in the primary to challenge Sen. Al Franken, is trying to regain his footing after saying he would not support requiring that American-made steel be used to build the Keystone pipeline. (MPR News)

National:
