The Washington Post is reporting that the campaign for former presidential candidate Ron Paul has invited Willie Nelson to appear at Ron Paul's Revolution Convention at Williams Arena in September (Read about it here). The counter convention is a part of Paul's new grassroots movement known as the Campaign for Liberty.
No word yet on Nelson's response but I'm thinking he may say If you've got the money (I've got the time).
In another case of strange bedfellows, Tucker Carlson has also agreed to be the emcee.
