Mild temps; light snow Sunday night into early Monday

We have only an inch or two of snow cover in the Twin Cities metro area right now, but we'll freshen that up with some snow Sunday night into Monday morning.

Boston received a 6-inch snowfall Saturday afternoon through Saturday night, and I'll bet that a lot of Bostonians will have fun playing in that fresh snow!

The heavy snow that fell over much of north Georgia Friday and Friday night showed up nicely on yesterday's satellite loop, as the clouds cleared out:

It looks like the Twin Cities metro area could see about one inch of snow by Monday morning, with a bit more in some spots.

It could be enough snow to slow down the Monday morning commute.

Some 2-inch amounts, and isolated 3-inch amounts, are possible in northern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.
