Our Memorial Day will be cool and breezy.

Most of Minnesota will see some scattered showers at times, and north-central and northeastern Minnesota are expected to see the most minutes of shower activity.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential Memorial Day rain pattern:

The color chart to the right of the loop refers to the strength of the radar signal that returns to the radar, not to the amount of rainfall.

Highs will be in the 50s in northern Minnesota and parts of central Minnesota on Monday, with some lower 60s in the south:

Memorial Day weather extremes

The Twin Cities office of the NWS researched Memorial Day weather from 1938 through 2016.

In the Twin Cities, it has been as warm as 95 degrees on Memorial Day, and our low temp has been as cold as 37 degrees:
