A low pressure system moves through on Friday, and we could see scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Scattered garden-variety thunderstorms are expected on Friday, but the Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service shows a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms Friday over southeastern Minnesota:
A marginal risk means that an isolated severe thunderstorm is possible
