Some Sunday sun, but cool

Our Saturday high temperature was only 68 degrees at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. That is 12 degrees below our average high for August 20th of 80 degrees.

It was our coldest high temperature since June 1, when we topped out at 67 degrees!

A high pressure system will bring us some Sunday sunshine, with patchy afternoon clouds. Highs will be a bit warmer:

Much of Minnesota will have lower 70s, with mid 70s over the southwest.

Winds will become southerly on Monday, and 80s will return:

Upper 80s will spread over much of Minnesota on Tuesday:

Dew points in the upper 60s are expected by Tuesday afternoon, so it'll feel steamy.

Thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night and Wednesday, then highs in the 70s return on Thursday.
