Today will be another lovely summer day with continued low humidity. High temperatures will range from the low 70s in the north to the mid 80s in the south. The Twin Cities should warm to the low 80s. Winds will be light.

Thunderstorms are likely to develop over about the southern third of Minnesota tonight. There is a slight risk of severe storms, mainly for damaging hail, in southwestern Minnesota.
Thunderstorms over southern Minnesota early tomorrow are forecast to turn sharply to the right and exit toward southern Wisconsin.

More showers and thunderstorms will pop up around the state during the daylight hours tomorrow but the strongest storms and heaviest rains will be to our southeast.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Storm Prediction Center is forecasting an outbreak of widespread severe storms late tomorrow afternoon and evening in the area from around Milwaukee and Chicago to northern Indiana and southwestern Lower Michigan.
Severe storms might persist Wednesday night across southern Lower Michigan and into western Ohio.
Thursday and Friday should be free of any weather drama.
Storms likely late Saturday afternoon into evening
June heat and humidity will return on Saturday. Then an advancing cold front should kick off the thunderstorm action. Widespread strong, and possibly severe, thunderstorms are likely to develop across much of Minnesota late Saturday afternoon.
Sunday will be cooler and much less humid on the back side of the cold front.
