April 11 through April 15 is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota and Wisconsin. More details can be found at Severe. Statewide tornado drills are scheduled for this coming Thursday.

Cold and windy Monday

A low pressure system to our east will give us cold northwesterly winds on Monday:

Northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin will see some snow showers at times on Monday:

I would not be surprised to see a few flakes in the northeast metro on Monday. That would confuse a few robins!

Highs Monday will be about 15 degrees below normal:

Warmup kicks in on Wednesday

Tuesday will be a bit warmer than Monday, but the serious warmup starts on Wednesday:

We should see highs in the 60s Wednesday and Thursday, and we could touch 70 on Friday and Saturday. That's more like it!
