The Twin Cities metro area and southeastern Minnesota will see rain at times this Saturday and Saturday night, and we could see some flakes mixed with the rain late Saturday night and very early Sunday morning.  We do expect some sunshine Sunday afternoon.

Portions of Minnesota will see some accumulating snow today and tonight, with the most snow expected over northeastern and far southwestern Minnesota. Here is a nice summary from the Twin Cities office of the National Weather Service:

Highs today will be coolest to the north and west:

Cool start to April?

The Climate Prediction Center of the National Weather Service released this outlook for April 2 through April 8:

NWS Climate Prediction Center

It shows Minnesota and Wisconsin with a high probability for below normal temps for the beginning of April. It doesn't necessary mean that all those days will be cooler than normal, but the average temp for the April 2 through April 8 period is expected to be below normal.

I hope that you have a good weekend!
