Summer comeback ahead
September is a month of changes in Minnesota. Gone are the long stretches of warmth and sure summer temps. Occasional bouts of cool air and frost let us know the seasons are in flux.
But summer air masses still venture north occasionally this time of year. Summer makes a comeback with more humidity and scattered thundershowers Friday.
A slow moving warm front-cool front combo will bring wind, humidity, warmth and showers. The cool front should clear things out by Sunday.
Overall the weather pattern looks fairly nice the next week or so. More summer than fall. More days in the 70s that 60s. We'll take it.
Fall colors continue to emerge up north. Here's an update from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
Enjoy!
