Record rain, steamy Thursday, spectacular fall weekend
Record rainfall triggered flooding in several spots in west central Minnesota in the past 24 hours.
Numerous reports of 2-plus inches of rain poured into the Weather Lab as storms hung over the same areas with intense tropical downpours.
Extensive street flooding inundated parts of Starbuck and Glenwood.

Thundery into Thursday
The storm threat persists overnight into Thursday across eastern Minnesota into Wisconsin. Storms from central Minnesota sag south this evening and overnight, probably clipping the metro. The strongest storms may favor the northeast metro overnight.
