Back to school perfection, severe risk Wednesday
Does it get any better than this?
There's nothing quite like that first day of school for parents. Anticipation, anxiety, parental pride and hope for a bright future.
It seems like just yesterday we stood at the bus stop sending our now college student son Luke off to kindergarten. And yes, I jumped in the car and followed the bus all the way to school that day.
Whatever memories and emotions this day brings you as a parent I am happy to report near perfect weather.

Changeable week ahead
This week attempts to make up its mind between summer and fall. Moisture and tropical dew points surge north again tomorrow. Scattered storms will rumble in as heat and humidity build Wednesday and Thursday.
A strong September Canadian cold front brings the first real hints of fall by this weekend.
Tuesday severe risk
As the potent warm front pushes north tomorrow, scattered storms will fire along and north of the front. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Storm Prediction Center has placed central Minnesota under a slight risk for severe storms with damaging winds and hail.
Stay tuned.
