Live Updates: Epic North Shore snows, still on track for 3″ to 7″+ in metro

Our winter storm has slowed a bit, but is still on track for significant snowfall tonight and Wednesday.

The window for significant snow in the metro seems to favor snow increasing from the west between 9 p.m. to midnight tonight, and continuing through about 5 p.m. Wednesday. That should mean messy morning and evening rush hours Wednesday.

Current thinking for the metro is still for a range of 3 inches to 7-plus inches of accumulation by late Wednesday.

Up north, some epic snowfall totals approaching 2 feet are already down near Two Harbors, and totals will likely exceed 30 inches to 3 feet along the North Shore ridges by Thursday.
