This weekend will feel like we have a "case of the grays" in Minnesota. Look for more clouds than sun.... a cream of mushroom soup sky will linger most of the weekend.
Weak upper air low pressure system will slide through, and may trigger a stray batch of sprinkles or snow showers.
Deer hunters will feel the morning chill, and highs will not recover out of the 30s north and 40s south this weekend.
All in all this will be a good weekend to light a fire and cozy up with ouyr favorite book or movie.

Election Day 2012: Mostly dry- favoring high turnout in swing states?
High pressure will sprawl across most of the USA by Tuesday, and that should mean a mostly dry election day. The key swing states of Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Virginia look mostly dry, and that could favor heavy turnout. A front will bring thunderstorms and rain to parts of Florida.
Nor'easter threatens east Coast late next week:
Don't look now, but the models are hinting at a potentially strong Nor'easter storm for the northeast by next Wednesday & Thursday. The storm will wind up over the Carolinas Wednesday and push north to New England Thursday. The worst of the system may pass just east of New Jersey & NYC.
Rain, wind and storm surge with waves will rake the East Coast, but this is no Sandy.
Still, it won't help in the still devastated areas that Sandy left in her wake.
Power slowly coming back:
Crews are working day & night to restore power to ravaged areas.
At one point over 8 million were without power out east. Long Island alone had nearly 1 million without power. As of Friday PM, 529,737 are still without power according to LIPA.
That means power has been restored to about 400,000 customers. Good progress, but it still may take weeks to get everybody back on line.
