On the brink of severe storm development

Dynamic forcing from a strong upper level low pressure over southwest Minnesota should initiate thunderstorm development quickly in southeast Minnesota. Thunderstorms could become severe quickly. Daytime heating in the next two hours could fuel severe storms. Tornadoes are possible in the strongest storms, mainly from the Twin Cities south to Albert Lea and east to Eau Claire.

We'll be tracking the storms throughout the day. Link to the National Weather Service Chanhassen Office storm page.
