Update: Slick PM rush

Traffic crawls along I-94 in St. Paul this afternoon.

The last bands of snow with today's Alberta Clipper are delivering a punch to afternoon rush in the metro.

The system has only brought 1 to 2.5" of snow to the metro, but that's more than enough for a slick commute on already icy roads when temperatures are in the single digits. The low pressure center is pulling away over southern Lake Michigan this afternoon, but the last bands of snow are still spiraling around through eastern Minnesota.
