There is another warm front-cold front combination in the short term weather picture for Minnesota. We have a very chilly start to your Thursday with wind chills in the 20s in northern Minnesota after highs in the 60s to lower 70s Wednesday afternoon.
Milder air will attempt a come back on Friday stirring up showers and isolated thunder as the warm air overrides the cooler air. Expect the best chances for rain-count on it-in northern Minnesota late Friday morning and into the afternoon. South winds up to 20 mph shift to northwest as the cool front charges into the region Friday night.
Stiff northwest winds add a chill to a cool Saturday, Be careful if you are taking to the lakes for some fishing.

Frost is possible as far south as St. Cloud on Sunday morning. Temperatures will slowly recover into the lower 60s by late Sunday afternoon.
