Please allow me another computer model run to monitor the path of this snowstorm! Currently the Twin Cities metro is on the northern edge of a rather heavy snow event, including blowing and drifting snow.
Currently, I am thinking that up to a foot of snow could fall from Worthington to Winona. The worst travel will come after dark on Saturday into early afternoon on Sunday.
This has all the makings of a REAL DEAL.
Stay tuned. Later today we may see the Winter Storm Watch extended closer to the south metro for Saturday night and Sunday.
