Tracing the Red

Unseasonably cold temperatures have kept snow and ice from melting and running off into the Red River the last 48 hours. Some sunshine today and Sunday will allow for some thaw and additional runoff. The River level appears to have stalled around 40.8 feet this morniing.

Another wet system is on the way, with a blizzard watch out from Bismarck to Wheaton. A mix of cold rain and wet snow is likely for central Minnesota Monday and Tuesday.
