It’s good to be a weatherman on Thanksgiving when the weather is quiet.
If you’re traveling this holiday weekend around Minnesota, expect dry roads and good travel conditions right through the weekend. It will be a chilly Thanksgiving, with highs in the low 30’s in southern Minnesota and 20’s up north.
Historically, this will be a pretty typical Thanksgiving Day in Minneosta.
If you are headed to Chicago, Milwaukee or Des Moines you will run into some rain and snow. Snow advisories for 1 to 3 inches of wet slush are flying for southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Power shoppers Friday will enjoy partly cloudy skies and a brisk day, with highs in the 30’s after early morning temps in the chilly teens. Milder Pacific air will begin to blow in by Sunday, as we return to the 40’s. It will be a perfect day to hang those Christmas Lights!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
