The Mississippi River runs deep in the personal history of Twin Cities arts writer Amanda Pierre, so of course she was drawn to "We Are Water" at the Soap Factory in Minneapolis. "We Are Water" is a month-long curatorial collaboration between the Soap Factory and Chinese artist Wang Ping, whose "Kinship of Rivers" project celebrates culture along the Mississippi and China's Yangtze River. Through June 7.
