This week, the hounds rhapsodize about writers flooding the MIA, a revealing bio-play about a courageous photographer and her lust for life, and a DJ who hypnotizes with his beats.

Playwright and Workhaus Collective co-founder Trista Baldwin felt a life force surge through her when she went to see Park Square Theatre’s “Behind the Eye.” Through May 18.

 

 

 

 

Revolver Editor-In-Chief Luke Finsaas applauds the Minneapolis Institute of Arts efforts to re-envision how a museum interacts with audiences. Luke says one prime example is  “The Hero’s Sacred Journey,” co-created with the Loft Literary Center. Thursday May 8th, from 5:30 – 8:30pm.

 

However big the venue, says St. Paul music and arts writer Ira Brooker, DJ Sloslylove will fill it with slow, sly and lovely electronica. Saturday, May 10, at the Hexagon Bar in Minneapolis.
