From producer Chris Roberts:

This week, an open air venue in a refurbished downtown Park Rapids, viewing art in book form, and an indie women's choral group interprets master songwriters.

And don't forget, Art Hounds will be taking a radio break but will continue on the State of the Arts blog for the next two months, so keep those submissions coming!

Park Rapids clarinet player Deane Johnson says his town has a freshened up look and now a chance to show it off through the Second Street Stage. Deane says the open air stage gives Park Rapids a much needed live music venue to see bands from across the region every week during the summer.

Lily Troia

Minneapolis music project manager and music instructor Lily Troia says the local indie womens' vocal group Anonymous Choir has such a rich blend of singers it sounds like a Rock n Roll church. Anonymous Choir will preview selections of its next recording project, covering Neil Young's "After the Goldrush" album, at Icehouse in Minneapolis, Saturday, June 29.
