New Falcons stadium design in Atlanta is literally eye-popping
Minnesota is already thinking outside the box in terms of materials and design for its new NFL stadium. But the folks down in Atlanta are one-upping the stadium design game - including selected seats that shake in response to hits on the field.
The Georgia World Congress Center unveiled its preliminary designs for a new home for the Falcons yesterday. The team and the city struck a deal for a new $1 billion dollar stadium, with the team picking up $800 million of the tab. But wait, that's isn't all.
The Atlanta proposal includes TWO designs, including a so-called "Solarium" variation.
