The scariest reading ever of a children’s book. (Thanks, St. Olaf.)

Just try to go to sleep after this. (St. Olaf College / Gray Wolf Press)

The internet is creeping out over the reading that St. Olaf College's writer in residence, Benjamin Percy, has given to the classic children's book, Goodnight Moon.

You can listen to the audio on the website of Gray Wolf Press, which says:

Bedtime stories are supposed to settle the mind and calm the nerves. Benjamin Percy's rendition of Goodnight Moon, however, will keep you up at night.

If you've ever heard Percy, the author of Red Moon and The Wilding, read, you know that he has a voice like no other. His storybook reading is enough to give you nightmares.

Here's a video version.
