This upcoming webinar on earning college credit while in high school seems appropriate in light of this blog post and discussion.

It's July 23 at 2 p.m -- with a Spanish version at 3 p.m. -- and will last half an hour.

Registration information and other details are on the Center for School Change website.

The Center wrote me:

The Webinars will help more families understand how they can save thousands of dollars - even tens of thousands of dollars, by having students take college level courses in high school. ... We will share recent research, tools, and updated information on Dual Credit programs in MN.  There will also be a panel of experts and community figures and time dedicated for Q&A from participants.

The Center is holding it in conjunction with the Minnesota Department of Education, Chicano Latino Affairs Council and Latino Communications Network.
