(Hebig says) all 150 of the students who have worked at Maverick since the program started in 2006 have been hired to full-time positions at companies including Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft and IBM. Many have received multiple offers months before they graduate.
Just in Minnesota, the paper reports, Maverick has set up shop at the University of Minnesota, Minnesota State University - Mankato, Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, and St. Cloud State University. Students from the University of St. Thomas, Bethel University and Macalester College are also employed.
