MnSCU's new push for career technical education

I've talked a lot about the (most?) recent emphasis on vocational-technical education, and it looks like the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system is pushing it, too.

(I believe it's calling that "career technical education.")

It has come out with a radio campaign called “Learning that works" -- I'm trying to get a copy of a spot -- and has set up a Web site where students and parents can learn more. It's apparently part of a national initiative.

It plans to highlight one of the MnSCU college's programs -- such as the one in the video above -- every two weeks.

(Good luck with that one. The visuals in the video above are fine, but the announcer in the commercial sounds like she's reading.)
