Regents honor outgoing UMN president Bruininks
During their meeting today the University of Minnesota board of regents honored president Robert Bruininks, and his wife Susan Hagstrum, for their service to the U of M over the last nine years.
Regents chair Clyde Allen gave Bruininks the title "President Emeritus", something he can't cash in until after June 30th, his last day in the president's office.
Bruininks plans to return to the U faculty after he steps down.
