In it’s big piece, “Moving Home: When College Grads Face Uncertain Futures,” The Huffington Post looks at college grads and what they’re going through to cope with crushing debt and a poor job market.
It profiles art history grad Sabrina Malik, who through a year and a half of futile searching, has been doing odd jobs to get by and has moved in with her mom.
She tells the Post:
“Right now, it’s a battle of trying to remain levelheaded — and I don’t know if it’s trying to stay optimistic, or become more realistic, or just learn to be okay with going through the motions. It feels like a lot of pressure. I want to make everyone proud. I want to blow everyone out of the water with everything I’ve accomplished. And I just can’t get there.”
