Why some Tommies are finding strangers in their dorm rooms

Some dorm-dwellers at the University of St. Thomas have been complaining of some snags in the notification process telling student's they've got a new roommate moving in.

They walk into their rooms and -- surprise! -- they find a stranger unpacking.

Sophomore Kelsey Hansen told TommieMedia student news service:

“I wasn’t really sure what was going on. had got a notification e-mail the day after she moved in.”

It's a frustrating process for some newcomers, too, freshman Brittney Schubert told the service:

“I asked a couple different times in e-mails for the contact information for my roommates and never got them. The day after I moved in, I got an e-mail from the hall director with the contact information.”
