Judge: Work out the U of Minnesota's SweeTango mess yourselves

In case you missed it, a judge has dismissed most of the legal claims against the University of Minnesota filed by growers over licensing of the new SweeTango apple, and ordered the case into mediation.

Growers were complaining they'd been unfairly excluded from opportunities to grow the apple, demand for which is expected to be huge. They'd filed more than half a dozen claims, which included accusations of monopolistic behavior and unreasonable restraint of trade.

The Minnesota Daily called the ruling a "big blow" to the growers.
