Video: Mark Dayton on higher education

Leave it to the students to corral the gubernatorial candidates.

Here Mark Dayton (DFL) talks higher education on a video produced by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system and its two statewide student associations.

The series includes sessions with Tom Horner (Independence) and Tom Emmer (Republican), which I'll put up in just a jiff.

Each candidate spends 15-20 minutes answering questions on issues including tuition, budget priorities, jobs for graduates and online learning.

In the coming weeks, the organizations will release excerpts that address individual issues.

You can find the whole shebang here along with more details. See also the sites for the Minnesota State College Students Association and the Minnesota State University Student Association.
