U-Minnesota to boost police presence

In light of the recent sexual assaults at two University of Minnesota fraternities, MPR's Tim Post is reporting on how the U is beefing up its police patrols for homecoming. They'll be keeping watch on campus and fraternity row, among other places.

Jerry Rinehart, who's in charge of student affairs at the U, tells Post:

"Those are the folks we're most worried about and the most vulnerable to injuring themselves or injuring others or being the victim of an assault of some sort," he said. "The number one things students could do to keep themselves safe this weekend is not overdo the alcohol."
