Those ingrates!

After the university and state of Minnesota cough up around $290 million to build the Gophers a new stadium, the Minnesota Daily reports that students are slow to buy tickets this season.

Sales are down by about 15 percent compared to this time last year. And the article makes it sound like the Gophers' lack of success isn't helping sales:

“I’ve just given up on this football team,” said University graduate student and former season ticket holder Carl Mullen-Schultz. “I’ve decided to focus on our basketball team.”

So what's it going to take to boost sales? Offering sneaky access to booze at the stadium by resurrecting the failed alcohol sales proposal?

(Yeah, that idea will go far.)
