The last laker arrives in Duluth

You couldn’t have asked for more miserable weather than the arctic blast that’s gripped us over the last few days.

Which is why the people of Duluth have exclusive bragging rights for being “real” Minnesotans when it counted most.

They’re the ones who bundled up and lined the ship canal by the Aerial Lift Bridge when the last laker came in for the winter yesterday.

The Paul R. Tregurtha is the largest ship operating on the Great Lakes.
