Blind man sees family for first time in 10 years

Your daily dose of sweetness today comes from KARE 11’s Lindsey Seavert, who has the story of Allen Zderad, 68, of Forest Lake.

He hasn’t seen his wife or grandchildren in more than 10 years, since going blind.

“His whole life we have heard – nothing can be done, nothing can be done, it’s all we’ve heard, until now,” his wife, Carmen Zderad, said.
