Wrenshall chicken farmer makes Super Bowl cut

Once again we in Minnesota have prematurely reached the stage of the football season where the only Super Bowl-related discussion still worth having is about the Super Bowl commercials.

Fortunately, Jason Amundson of Wrenshall, Minn., still has a shot at the big game. Intuit will use a Super Bowl time slot to run a commercial for one small business in the country. Amundson, who owns Locally Laid, an egg company where every chicken is named Lola, took a run at it.

People had a chance to vote for the businesses based on the online videos and Amundson reports it’s paid off… so far.

Amundson says a vote for his company was a vote for a food system.
