And now, an antidote to the stories of kids spending thousands and thousands of dollars on prom dresses.
In Davie, FL., 20 high school kids were in a limo, heading for their prom, when a van flipped over on the highway.
They and their limousine driver are being credited with rescuing five adults and two children trapped in the van, the Broward Sun Sentinel reports.
These are your kids, America.
“I went to the prom and a lot of girls were helping me get the blood out of my dress, so it was good,” one young woman said.
