Last night was one of those nights when one might wish Cmdr. Chris Hadfield was still in orbit aboard the International Space Station because his pictures of the Twin Cities clearly showed the blue-bathed I35W bridge in Minneapolis.
He wouldn’t have seen blue last night, though. It was lit in a rainbow following the Minnesota Senate’s passage of the same-sex marriage bill. Similar to the way it was lit here in 2011.
