Watching eagles

This is the only scene left to watch with the Department of Natural Resources live eagle cam:

The eagles apparently have gone off somewhere, now that all three eggs, hatched in January, froze and broke. Maybe they’ll try again later in the season; maybe not. It’s been that kind of spring.

Fortunately, Ron Schara’s Minnesota Bound website has set up another eagle cam for us to watch another pair.

Meanwhile, in LaCrosse, the website for Eagles4Kids.com is following a pair of eagles and is even counting down the time to hatching, which currently is estimated at 2 this afternoon.

And in Decorah, the eagle cam that had everyone mesmerized last year is still active, but the nest is gone this year.
