Lt. Col. Terry Lakin, a Bronze star recipient, is refusing to deploy to Afghanistan because he has not seen a copy of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.
But, according to CBS News, the Pentagon is dealing harshly with a member of the military refusing a direct order. He was stripped of a pass to enter the Pentagon and a government laptop computer. He has been told he’ll be court martialed. And now he’s a cause célèbre.
