OK, cynics: gov’t that works

The Humphrey School and InCommons are highlighting smart solutions in the public sector. Programs in St. Paul, Dakota County and Mounds View are finalists in the sixth annual Local Government Innovation Awards and you get to vote for the one that should receive a $25,000 grant "to continue innovating."

The Dakota County Re-Entry Assistance Program is improving the success rate of offenders reintegrating back into society:

And the Early College Program at Irondale High School in the Mounds View school district is the first school in the state to offer early college to every student:
