1. Two Minneapolis police officers were set to talk to investigators about the fatal shooting of an unarmed black man in north Minneapolis over the weekend. (Star Tribune)

4. Some Republican insiders say now that foreign policy has become the main issue, the outsider candidates in the Republican presidential race will fade. But they've been saying that for a while, haven't they? (Politico)

5. Ben Carson is pushing back against this story that contends some in his own campaign say he's struggling to get a grasp on foreign policy. ( New York Times)
