The U.S. House will vote this week on competing plans to extend the Bush tax cuts. Rep. Collin Peterson is one of two Democrats who plan to back a Republican proposal to extend the cuts for everyone through 2013, The Hill reports.

The Presidential Campaign

Mitt Romney was in Jerusalem over the weekend, where he said that keeping Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities would be his "highest national security priority," the New York Times reports.
