Pawlenty scores in New Hampshire

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty started today with a pick-up game of hockey in Concord, New Hampshire.

Pawlenty wore a dark blue University of New Hampshire jersey with the number 12 and his name on it. Staffers say a local supporter who plays hockey arranged the game. Pawlenty played on and off for about an hour and kept up with his teammates who were about Pawlenty's age. Pawlenty managed to score a goal, and he didn't lose teeth or break anything either.

Pawlenty is in New Hampshire for a series of appearances that began with a presidential series house party in Manchester.

After the hockey game and a shower, Pawlenty was headed to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire for a speech and Q & A session about health care.

Representative Michele Bachmann arrives in New Hampshire later today for a string of fundraisers today and tomorrow.
