Race for Governor

The Star Tribune/Minnesota poll says Democrat Mark Dayton has a lead on Republican Tom Emmer. IP candidate Tom Horner is picking up steam.

The poll comes just two days after a Rasmussen Poll called the race a dead heat.

60 percent of those polled in the Minnesota poll also support Dayton's plan of taxing top-earners.

AP took a look at the legislation that Dayton and Emmer authored and co-authored and found that they didn't work as cooperatively as they suggest on the campaign trail.

The PoliGraph says Emmer's comments about LGA are wrong.

Dayton, and several other DFL politicians, will speak at today's AFL-CIO convention.
