Capitol Report:

Access to health care remains a high priority issue for many legislators. On this week's Capitol Report, host Julie Bartkey talks with Mary Krinkie of the Minnesota Hospital Association about the progress of the newly-implemented health care access program for the very poor. Plus, Senator John Marty, DFL-Roseville, is meeting with groups throughout the state advocating his Minnesota Health Plan, which would create one plan for all Minnesotans with premiums based on ability to pay. Plus, Representative Jim Abeler, R-Anoka, contends that Minnesota should avoid short-term federal medical assistance dollars and it should become a campaign issue.
